The Symbols are more or less present since the first artistic expressions of humanity, and have been perpetuated over millennia, although it is in our recent history when a symbolic artistic current defined and separated from other artistic currents appears.

Symbolic Art is the artistic manifestation of Symbolism, a cultural current that was born in France at the end of the nineteenth century and that spread throughout much of Europe. Symbolism in art is characterized by its dreamlike and fantastic style, representing the subjective, the occult, the transcendent, the existential, connecting art with philosophy. Symbolism, beyond being merely aesthetic, tries to capture an idea or message that makes the observer reflect, an idea that is usually hidden behind the use of symbols or symbolic representations and that the observer is discovering, and even transforming into an idea of his own.
With new technologies, the range of possibilities when it comes to representing Symbolic Art is expanded, giving way to Digital Symbolic Art.
Who is Javier Bueno?
Digital Artist, precursor of a movement evolved from Symbolism. Digital Symbolic Art is a disruptive movement and coherent with the new forms of production of Contemporary Art.
Using as the only method of creation, the digital elaboration of scenarios and 3D elements, he tries to give life to metaphorical scenographies, capturing them in 2D supports, as if they were dreamlike photographs, evoking the viewer to the reflection of abstract concepts and making him a participant in his own internal debate, inviting him to create new ideas from the perception of the work, discovering the observer intimate interpretations, interpretations that in the genesis of the work do not exist and that are born from the depths of his being.
Digital Symbolic Art, beyond being merely aesthetic, hides a message based on archetypal geometries and symbols, characterized by its dreamlike and fantastic style, representing the subjective, the occult, the transcendent, the existential, connecting art with philosophy.
Its objective is the digital creation of conceptual, surreal, suggestive, fantastic and symbolic images.
3D digital art is a discipline that unifies sculpture, photography, lighting, painting and artistic composition.
